A nice thing about a note…
We make cheerful cards for seniors who may be feeling isolated. Write a few kind words, share something you're grateful for, doodle a sunset or go wild with stickers. The cards are delivered through Project Tight Knit, a Canadian nonprofit, so each one finds its way to someone who might enjoy a little something in the mail.
So, what do we actually do?
It's not a workshop or a volunteer shift. It's a free, cozy, screen-free morning with good company. No art skills or writing talent needed, and I'll bring all the supplies and prompts. Just show up, settle in and make something lovely. If you'd like to treat yourself to a coffee or pastry from Book Bar, it’s a nice way to support the venue.
Everyone’s welcome!
Come on your own or bring a friend. Stay for ten minutes or the whole morning. You can chat with the people around you or settle in and make cards at your own pace. There's no right way to do it, and you don't need to know anyone before you arrive. I'll save you a seat.
